An exclusive view of our vineyards
We want to convey to you the pleasure of living in the country, even if only for a few days, by providing you with all possible comforts. The wonder is taken care of by nature.
Picchinenna Room
The Picchinenna room includes a double bedroom with a view of the vineyards, a bathroom, a hallway and a large covered terrace furnished with a small table and armchairs where you can relax with a view of the garden. It is equipped with air conditioning, internet and independent access from the garden.
The bedroom is decorated with an exhibition of 20 paintings, many by the painter Marino Picchinenna-his family came from Basilicata and is said to have been involved in horse breeding for the royal family of the Bourbons of Naples. Marino had a real passion for horses.
We hung paintings in the wall opposite the bed to admire his depictions of horses running in the fields in winter, spring and summer.
In the hallway we can admire an artist's copy of the famous Théodore Géricault painting.
The Picchinenna room includes a double bedroom with a view of the vineyards, a bathroom, a hallway and a large covered terrace furnished with a small table and armchairs where you can relax while enjoying the bucolic view. Roman Carnival Suite
The Carnevale Romano suite is ideal for those who want their comfortable independence surrounded by the landscape of the Paliano hills. It includes a small room with a French bed (one and a half squares), a bathroom, a living room with a double sofa bed, and a kitchen with a large terrace overlooking the vineyards where you can eat outdoors.
Everything is elegantly decorated with artwork depicting the fascinating world of horses and telling stories of equestrian art and passion.
It is equipped with air conditioning, television, internet and independent access from the garden. The kitchen is furnished with induction hobs, oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher. It is also equipped with a washing machine, ironing board, and iron.
Living room
The living room is decorated with two large canvases depicting scenes from the famous Roman Carnival in the time of the Pope-Re, which culminated in the 'loose' horse race that started from Piazza del Popolo and took place on Via del Corso, named after this very race. We had these two paintings made by Romanian painter Emanuele Bandù, who was inspired by paintings of the time, for an exhibition in China.
Sustermans Room
This bedroom is enriched by an artist's copy of one of the most beautiful horse paintings: the Romanian painter Emanuele Bandù reproduced the portrait of Ferdinand II de' Medici by the Flemish Justus Sustermans. It was this work of art that inspired us to organize the "Love at First Sight" exhibition (which can be visited in the wine shop) that we presented at the World Equestrian Championships in Rome.
In addition to these canvases you can see a beautiful Horse in Red by Roman painter Tranquilli, a print by Antonio Vangelli who worked for a time in our area, a watercolor by Paola Pericone from Colleferro.
The entire apartment includes both the Sustermans solution and the Picchinenna room through the opening of the connecting door between the two rooms.
The apartment includes the two bedrooms (double and French), two bathrooms with shower stalls, a living room with a double sofa bed and television, a large kitchen, a terrace with a table for outdoor dining overlooking vineyards, and a covered terrace overlooking the garden furnished with armchairs and a small table.
It is perfect for staying with family or even spending time having fun with a group of friends.
